There’re so many things that I want to do but there are limitations as well. Sometimes I wish I could fly away but we’ve responsibilities to other people besides ourselves, for example, family.

I know I may not be making sense because I’m in a pretty pensive mood.

However, within our limitations and with what we currently have now, count your blessings and give thanks.

Cherish whatever we have and live with purpose and passion.

Many of us work our lives off, trying to make a living. Fact is, life is more than money and money will never be enough.

Wealth and happiness comes to those with the correct mindset. The correct mindset will attract what we secretly desire.

IT ALWAYS STARTS WITH YOUR MIND AND KNOWING EXACTLY WHAT YOU WANT!

I believe I’ve mentioned this before, we need to know what we want to attract it.

Obviously we can also attract negative things and that starts from thinking of the negative, which we tend to do naturally.

So we must be consciously positive at all times, even in the face of problems.

Look at it this way, we’ll always have problems and they will never go away, so make the best of it!

I know it’s easier than it sounds. Trust me, I know.

One way I’ve found to be positive is to give myself some space and care. Meaning, thinking of myself for once.

I do that by pursuing what I love aggressively and with a goal. Be it a person, topic or simply a hobby.

Many of you know I love music. It heals the soul and connects people from all walks of life and nationalities.

If there’s ONE thing that brings the world together, it’s music.

Music has been with me since I was young. In fact in my younger days, I used it to escape to imaginary faraway places.

Listening to all types of songs and closing my eyes helps to relieve the realities of the real world, even for a moment. It’s re-energizing.

Music is often positive in nature so I believe it’s one of the best ways to cultivate a positive mentality!

While I was growing up, I was a quiet, introverted, romantic and extremely dreamy person. No one really knows my true feelings, including myself.

The good part was, I’m also always an action taker.

I needed a way to express my emotions and took to music. Unfortunately I never had the chance, environment or money to learn it correctly while I was growing up. I’ve always envied kids who could learn music. I had to teach myself, which didn’t help.

Since I’ve more time now, I’ve decided to pursue the love of creating music which I’ve stopped for 10 years since discovering the internet.

I’ve even started professional music training and bought myself a grand piano just to prove the point!

And for the first time since I was 27 years old, I wrote a new song…it’s a love song.

I will probably release this soon and hope to get good comments from you guys.

We all have our own dreams and aspirations. I encourage you to strive for your dreams just like I’m doing. We only have one life.

Songwriting and being a professional performer is one of mine, since I was young.

One day I’ll even record a music video and maybe turn into a Youtube star

Because secretly in my heart, I want to be a rockstar!

It’s the first time ever I’ve gone there and it was indeed a life-changing trip. It opened my eyes to life in a totally foreign country and the people there are very warm and nice.

I made many friends. Apart from the business aspects, being able to travel and see different countries and cultures is a life-enriching experience.

It’s good for the soul. You should always have fun too even though you may work very hard.

The seminar itself was very successful, with over 800+ people in attendance! There was a lot of media and TV interviews too. I had to do translation which was hard work but it’s worth it.

I feel very blessed to be able to help people all over the world and encourage entrepreneurship and freedom.

Write down your goals!

It’s a simple task that works to steer your mind but 99% of us DON’T do it.

Well I don’t either. Not often enough anyway.

Lets not even talk about New Year resolutions lol.

Have you heard about creating a “Life List”?

For example, 10 things you would want to do before your time on earth is up.

It’s a grand goal indeed when most people don’t even KNOW what they want. Think about it.

“You can’t achieve what you want – when you don’t even know what you want.”

That’s my own invented little quote by the way. Hope it makes sense.

Even though we don’t often write down our goals, I think it’s important to at least do something meaningful every week.

Stuff that enrich our lives and plant memories in our minds as grand experiences.

It could be little things or big things, doesn’t matter.

What have you done this week you can REMEMBER?

I can’t remember many things as I’m a rather forgetful person, however some things when done can be easily remembered because of the FEELINGS and EXPERIENCES attributed to them.

It could be simple things like watching a great movie, or doing something “out of the ordinary” than what you’ll normally do.

For example, I travel often and hardly watches movies on the plane as I’ll be on my computer. I do remember 3 months back when I did decide to watch 3 movies in a row though. Really enjoyed Wolverine too. Brings out the animal in me

Just yesterday, I caught Shrek Forever After in 3D and it was GREAT. Really nice kids movie that made me feel young and happy again.

In fact I did a lot of things this week I can easily remember…

I launched this new blog, worked on a major business plan, spoke at length with my lawyer, bought a new car! (no, the events are not related to each other)

Here’s the car, it’s a Mercedes M Class:

Cars in Singapore are crazily expensive because of taxes etc. and I paid over S$250,000 for it. But it’s worth it because of the EXPERIENCE now and in the future.

I don’t profess to be a Mercedes fan but I’ve still got my other Eclass coupe which is simply AMAZING…

I’m sharing this with you to hopefully inspire you.

I’m an ordinary guy who got a start on the internet and became successful because I KNEW, WANTED and TASTED success even before I succeeded.

That’s the key – it’s about wanting it bad enough.

Working in a 9-5 job isn’t bad, I was holding positions in various multi-national companies for 8 years before coming out on my own. I do enjoy the office environment and have made many friends.

Nothing beats having the company of good colleagues, lunches and gossiping.

After 5 years of being my own boss, I STILL miss my colleagues and the nicer aspects of the corporate environment.

Working for other people is essentially a transaction where we trade time for money. Too many people burn their lives away doing that. This shouldn’t be the case.

We are all entrepreneurs at heart – everyone is unique with their own ideas and strengths!

Question is, how many people are actually brave enough to PURSUE THEIR DREAMS?

We only got ONE LIFE, and it’s a short one.

Time passes by like a bullet.

Sometimes the fear of insecurity and moving out of our comfort zones make us stay the way we are…forever.

Break free and achieve your dreams. That’s the ONLY way to move forward and live life with happiness and freedom.

Chase after the dreams and desires you had as a child – it’s never too late.

Remember, we’ve only got one life on this earth and time is moving faster than you know…
